DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:
Explore both machine and hand-sewing in this hybrid Monday class at Ciclo Sewing Lab. Students learn essential hand stitches, proper tool use, threading, knotting, and basic mending while building confidence on the sewing machine. Each student works on a project matched to their skill level—from simple hand-sewn items to more advanced machine projects. Beginners start with foundational stitches, while returning students take on more complex techniques and personalized goals.
This class supports creativity, skill-building, and sustainable fashion practices. Students leave with completed projects and the confidence to continue sewing independently. Perfect For beginners, experienced sewists, makers wanting both hand and machine skills and anyone interested in slow fashion, upcycling, or building sewing confidence.
